Anxiety Therapy

When anxiety keeps your mind racing and your body on edge, it can make everyday life feel overwhelming. Anxiety can show up in many ways—constant worry, racing thoughts, tension in your body, or a sense that something might go wrong at any moment. Even when you try to relax or distract yourself, your mind may keep returning to the same concerns and “what if” scenarios. Anxiety therapy provides a supportive space to better understand these patterns and learn practical ways to calm your mind and feel more steady in daily life.

What you’re going through.

Living with anxiety can feel like your mind never fully turns off.

You might replay conversations, worry about the future, or constantly second-guess whether you’re making the “right” decisions. Your body may stay tense or restless, leaving you feeling drained even when nothing obvious is wrong.

Over time, the constant pressure of worry can make it harder to focus, relax, or enjoy the moments that matter most.

How therapy can help with anxiety.

Anxiety therapy helps you better understand the patterns that keep worry and tension going.

Instead of feeling pulled into every anxious thought, you can learn ways to slow things down and respond with more clarity and balance. Over time, many people notice their thoughts feel less overwhelming and their ability to handle stress grows stronger.

The goal is not to eliminate anxiety completely, but to help it take up far less space in your life.

My approach to anxiety therapy.

My approach to anxiety therapy focuses on helping you understand the patterns behind your worries while building practical tools to manage them.

I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies to help you respond differently to anxious thoughts and physical symptoms. Sessions may include learning coping skills, identifying triggers, and gradually practicing new ways of approaching situations that feel overwhelming.

Over time, the goal is to help you feel more confident navigating uncertainty so anxiety no longer controls your choices.

Who is this for?

Anxiety therapy can be helpful for children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed by constant worry, self-doubt, or pressure to get everything right. You might find yourself overthinking decisions, anticipating worst-case scenarios, or feeling physically tense and restless much of the time. Many people I work with describe feeling stuck in their heads, unsure how to quiet the constant stream of “what if” thoughts.

If anxiety is making daily life feel heavier than it should, therapy can offer support and practical ways to regain a sense of balance.
