About Me
About My Practice
A place you can truly exhale.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest about what’s really going on beneath the surface.
Too often, people struggling with anxiety or OCD carry shame about their thoughts or worry that something is “wrong” with them, when in reality they are responding to stress in very human ways. My passion for this work comes from helping people see themselves with more compassion and less judgment.
When you feel understood and supported, it becomes much easier to begin untangling the patterns that have been holding you back.

Who I Am
I bring experience working with children, teens, and adults across inpatient, outpatient, and residential mental health settings, which has shaped the thoughtful, flexible way I approach therapy today.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD, and draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness to support meaningful change.
I’m also a member of the International OCD Foundation and remain committed to ongoing learning so I can provide the most effective care possible.
My Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in practical steps that help you face anxiety rather than feel controlled by it.
I draw from approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and ACT, but our work always starts with understanding your unique experiences and goals. Sessions often involve learning new ways to respond to anxious thoughts, gradually facing fears in manageable ways, and building skills that help you tolerate uncertainty with greater confidence.
My role is to guide and challenge you at a pace that feels safe and realistic, so you can begin applying what you learn in therapy to your everyday life.

Considering Therapy
Is this a good fit?
If you’re someone who feels stuck in anxious thoughts, overwhelmed by uncertainty, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own, you’re not alone.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who are open to learning new ways of approaching their fears and challenges. Therapy with me works best when we approach the process collaboratively, with curiosity, patience, and a willingness to try new strategies together.
Even if you’re unsure whether therapy is the right next step, reaching out can be a meaningful first move toward feeling more steady and supported.
